I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Cluster of Excellence "The Politics of Inequality" at the University of Konstanz, as well as a guest scientist here at the Department of Perceiving Systems at the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems. I am interested in investigating the impacts of perceived charisma on human behaviour. With the help of virtual avatars, my current project looks at how political charisma is perceived in politicians from a politically marginalised background.
Prior to this, I completed my doctoral candidacy at the International Max Planck Research School for Cognitive and Systems Neuroscience. My doctoral studies were carried out at the Department of Perceiving Systems at the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems, as well as the Department of Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy at the University Hospital Tübingen.
